The size of the aquarium with the UVC clarifier can vary depending on the specific model and capacity of the UVC clarifier. However, UVC clarifiers are commonly used in larger aquariums, such as those with a capacity of 50 gallons or more. The UVC clarifier is typically sized to match the flow rate and volume of the aquarium, ensuring effective water treatment. It is important to select a UVC clarifier that is appropriately sized for the specific aquarium to achieve optimal results. **

A UV-C clarifier is a device used to control algae and harmful bacteria in ponds and aquariums by using ultraviolet light to sterilize the water. If you urgently need help with a UV-C clarifier, I recommend checking the device's manual for troubleshooting tips or contacting the manufacturer for assistance. It's important to ensure that the clarifier is properly installed and maintained, and that the UV bulb is functioning correctly. If you're still experiencing issues, consider reaching out to a professional or experienced hobbyist for further guidance. **

For a 240-liter aquarium, a UV-C clarifier with a flow rate of around 600-800 gallons per hour (2271-3028 liters per hour) would be suitable. It is important to choose a UV-C clarifier that is appropriately sized for the volume of water in the aquarium to ensure effective sterilization of the water. Additionally, consider factors such as the brand reputation, warranty, and customer reviews when selecting a UV-C clarifier for your aquarium. **

To connect the Eheim UV clarifier to your aquarium, first, determine the appropriate placement for the clarifier within your filtration system. Then, attach the clarifier to the outflow of your filter using the provided tubing and fittings. Ensure that the water flow from the filter passes through the UV clarifier before returning to the aquarium. Finally, plug in the clarifier and adjust the flow rate to ensure proper exposure of the water to the UV light. **

The aquarium water may still be green despite the UV clarifier because the clarifier may not be powerful enough to effectively eliminate all the algae and other microorganisms causing the green color. Additionally, the water may still be green if the clarifier is not being used for a sufficient amount of time or if the water flow rate through the clarifier is too fast for it to effectively kill the algae. It's also possible that there are other factors contributing to the green color of the water, such as excess nutrients or inadequate filtration. **
