Julius Caesar likely acquired the surname "Caesar" because it was a cognomen, or family name, that was passed down through generations. It is believed to have originated from an ancestor who was born by Caesarean section (from the Latin word "caesus," meaning cut). Over time, the name became associated with the Julian family and was adopted by Julius Caesar as his own surname. It eventually became a title for Roman emperors and is the origin of the word "czar" in Russian. **

Julius Caesar's last name "Caesar" is believed to have originated from an ancestor who was born by caesarean section, a type of childbirth that was named after Julius Caesar himself. Another theory suggests that the name "Caesar" may have been derived from the Latin word "caesaries," meaning "thick head of hair," which could have been a nickname for one of Julius Caesar's ancestors. Over time, the name "Caesar" became associated with power and authority, and Julius Caesar himself solidified this association through his rise to become one of the most powerful figures in ancient Rome. **

The question of whether Caesar was a tyrant is a complex and debated topic. Some argue that Caesar's actions, such as his consolidation of power and disregard for the Roman Republic's institutions, could be seen as tyrannical. Others believe that Caesar's reforms and efforts to improve the lives of Roman citizens suggest he was a benevolent dictator rather than a tyrant. Ultimately, the answer to this question may vary depending on one's perspective and interpretation of Caesar's actions. **

There is historical evidence to suggest that Julius Caesar may have suffered from epilepsy. Some ancient sources describe him as having seizures, which could be a symptom of epilepsy. However, it is important to note that the term "epilepsy" in ancient times was used more broadly to describe any kind of sudden, unexplained illness or seizure. Therefore, while it is possible that Caesar had epilepsy, it is not definitively proven. **

Caesar seized power in Rome by defeating his rival Pompey in a civil war. He then declared himself dictator for life, effectively ending the Roman Republic and establishing himself as the sole ruler of Rome. Caesar's actions ultimately led to his assassination by a group of senators who feared his growing power. **

Julius Caesar was assassinated by a group of Roman senators led by Gaius Cassius Longinus and Marcus Junius Brutus. The assassination took place on March 15, 44 BCE, and was a result of a conspiracy to overthrow Caesar's dictatorship and restore the traditional Roman Republic. The conspirators believed that Caesar's growing power and ambition posed a threat to the Roman Republic, and they saw his assassination as a necessary act to preserve the republic. **
